Beer and pizzas — that's a combination we cannot resist, right? Kick back and relax at Beer & Beans, a cute Italian Cafe on NIBM Road. Formerly known as Cafe Ritazza, BB is now serving beer, booze, Italian dishes, and baked delights, that too contact-less.
The cafe is situated in Clover Plaza on the main road itself, hence the place is easy to spot. The interiors are neat and pretty. They have a main diner-style indoor area with a few seats outside. If you want to grab a bite, you can choose between their freshly-baked savouries, all-day breakfast options, appetizers, pizzas, pasta, salads, sandwiches or even meal bowls.
We visited the place for a hearty lunch and loved the quiet ambience. We couldn't help but rave about the croissant sandwich, which was a crispy croissant pastry filled with cheese, veggies and sauces. Yum! While it was an absolute delight, the pasta surprisingly disappointed us. Not only was it overcooked, but the dish also had a slightly microwaved taste. We hear they specialise in pizzas, so maybe pick that over pasta.
Those coming in the morning can opt for a fruit bowl with yoghurt, all-day pancakes, and French toasts and eggs. For those who want a fulfilling meal, Beer & Beans has Moroccan rice bowls, Thai curry bowls and a lot more. We liked the baked savouries but felt the mains could have been better. You have a lot of dessert options too like cheesecakes, tiramisu, brownie, cake, pain au chocolat. The variety is huge and a meal for two costs around INR 1000.
