If you’re a hardcore carnivore and find it hard to choose where to eat, have no fear, LBB is here. We’ve toiled away night and day to create this carnivore's bucket list of restaurants showcasing the meatiest food across Pune. Whether you prefer meaty Maharashtrian delicacies, tandoori North Indian fare, or Pan-Asian treats, our list has it all.

George Restaurant

If it's biryani that you crave, no one does it like George restaurant. Located in Camp, George has been making meat lovers happy with its Persian delicacies since 1936. Every day between 9 AM to 12 PM, the restaurant serves a delicious kheema pav for breakfast. Post noon, lunchtime begins. From authentic chello kebabs to jujeh kebabs, the list is endless. But it's the biryani that brings folks down here from across the city. Made with the finest ingredients, the chicken and mutton biryani here is to die for.

Gajalee

We cannot make a list of non-vegetarian restaurants in the city without mentioning Gajalee. This award-winning restaurant at Bund Garden Road is well-known for its rich coastal cuisine and is loved even by your favourite celebs. Specialising in Maharashtrian and North-Indian seafood delicacies, you’ve got to try their house speciality crabs slowly cooked in a tandoor, grilled lobsters, Bombay duck, and the special masala oysters. They also serve a variety of mutton and chicken dishes that are worth ordering if you are not in the mood for seafood.

Yeti And The Monk

Formerly known as Smiley House, Yeti And The Monk serve exquisite Tibetan and South East Asian fare. Located in Khadki, the casual diner is open for lunch between 12 PM and 3 PM and dinner between 7 PM and 11 PM. We suggest you start with their famous summer rolls made with thin rice paper and stuffed with fresh veggies. Moving to the main course, the must-try dish is Vietnamese pho, a clear broth soup served with flat noodles, coriander, and spring onions. Add chicken or pork, according to your preferences.

Mandala Hotpot Culture

Are you searching for a Pan-Asian restaurant offering hotpot specialities? Check out Mandala Hotpot Culture at Kalyani Nagar. Following the traditional Chinese method, a hotpot is a dish where a flavourful broth is placed on the table with a heat source that keeps it simmering hot. It is served with rice, noodles, vegetables, meat, condiments, and sauces. Start by choosing the soup base, the level of spice, side veggies, and sauces, and finally, meat or seafood. All you have to do is dunk the meat in the boiling broth for a few minutes and have it piping hot as you go. They also serve yummy pulled pork and prawn bao.

Maratha Samrat

Known for its authentic flavours from Vidharbha, Maratha Samrat has won multiple food awards for its delicious offerings. With outlets in Camp, Baner, and Kothrud, the restaurant has built a long list of patrons that can't get enough of their non-vegetarian dishes. While their chicken and mutton thali is a no-brainer, if you want to try something unusual, try the kala mutton fry made with charred onions or the prawns the cha made with fiery green chillies. Wash it down with a glass of cooling mattha.

Boteco

Boteco opened in Koregaon Park in April 2016 and has been slaying it ever since. With a focus on Brazilian cuisine, their meats and grills are a treat. Chef Guto’s meaty experiments with the specials menu are always on point, keep an eye out for treats like foie gras and imported Brazilian tenderloin. Do not miss their Escondido—a dry-aged specialty beef; carne na pedra—DIY steak cooked on a hot stone; the Boteco mega grill platter; and their all-you-can-eat churrasco lunch on Saturdays.

Aufside @Hotfut

Aufside is every sports fan's dream bar—it even has an attached arena where you can burn off the calories from all their delicious grub! While you settle in with a chilled beer to watch your favourite sports team battle it out, grab a chilli dog or a Philly cheese steak burger, or go straight for the kill with their BBQ pork chops, which we promise are life-altering. Aufside is a great place to watch live match screenings with your squad, but we suggest booking a table beforehand.

Burger 11

Though they are a delivery-only restaurant, Burger 11 is the bomb! Hungry at 3 AM? Drunk and need to sober up? Need to carb-load before your early morning workout? Call Burger 11. Seriously their burgers are insanely good. Order the chicken buster burger, the quarter-pounder buff meister, or the BLT burger with German smoked bacon. Delivery is available between 7.30 PM and 4 AM, so plan accordingly. Try their lettuce-wrapped burgers if you’re on a low-carb/no-carb diet or just plain gluten intolerant.

Mad House Grill

Nestled in a quiet bylane in Koregaon Park, under a canopy of twinkly lights, sits Mad House Grill. Pune’s first dedicated steakhouse, Mad House Grill is well known for its steaks and grills. We enjoyed their bulls-eye steak, the special mix grill, and the fish in lemon butter sauce. It has the perfect setting for a romantic date night or a lazy Sunday lunch. Try their apple crumble and chocolate sin and wash everything down with a pint of the famous Goan Kings beer.

Surve's Pure Non Veg

Touted by many as the most authentic Maharashtrian non-vegetarian thali in the city, Surve’s lives up to the expectations. Originating from Satara, the restaurant has two outlets—one at FC Road and the other in Viman Nagar. Whichever you choose, the service and quality of the thali remain consistent. Feast on the chicken thali, mutton rassa thali, or the main event: Surve’s special mutton thali that features bhakri, mutton fry, mutton kheema, mutton soup, and a delicious khichdi cooked in mutton broth. It is worth every penny.
