Saturdays will never be the same again if you like an evening with great music, a bar that could seriously give the biggies a run for their money. Meet the Saturday Supper Club. Bonus: You can dress up, hang out with other stylish folks in Goa and sip on potent cocktails.

What Makes It Awesome?

The Saturday Supper Club initiated by the Grand Hyatt Goa on every first and last Saturday of the month, is the go-to place for an experience that is out of the world. From the time you walk in to their Capiz bar, where there is a DJ spinning tunes and a Bellini is handed over to you as a welcome drink, you know you're in for a good night.

Walk in and you will notice that though it is made to feel like a nightclub, it is not very crowded (Thank God they take limited bookings). So, this is for all of you who like to party, but don't want to get jostled by crowds or wait forever for a drink. And with their main bar offering some nice cocktails or your regular tipple, alongside a separate gin bar, you'll be spoiled for choice.

The gin bar had some great gins from across the world from the regulars like Bombay Sapphire, Beefeaters, Tanqueray to the Botanist, Martin Miller, Sipsmith, Bathtub and more. A cute tapas selection sets the tone for the food that one will indulge in all evening, with some innovative bites like the miniature Macaron Sliders (Yes, they are a burst of sweet and savoury), Carpaccio, Hot Foie Gras Lollies, Parmesan Cigars, or the Crunchy Rose that is root vegetables fried chips-style.

They've also got a cheese and cold cuts on offer to nibble on with the fine wine you're going to be sipping. Once you are ready for your main course, just take the stairs to their upper floor Italian restaurant. But, what we loved was the fact that it is all a la carte, so everything was prepared fresh on order and in small portions.

With a choice of crabs and lobster among the grilled seafood, to salads, breads, pastas and meats, they offer it all. Be it a grilled Australian lamb chop, or tenderloin sautéed in some Madeira wine, or a crispy pork belly stuffed with pancetta bacon, it is paradise for meat lovers.

Finish it all with some ravioli, or risotto, or even some clams in white wine sauce before you head to the dessert counter. Here, they have a Napoleon Mille Feuille, a Peach Panacotta or the more traditional chocolate and hazelnut tart and a tiramisu.

What Could Be Better?

Well for one, we wished that they did this every Saturday. But otherwise we wouldn't change anything about this evening, it is a great place for people to enjoy a nice evening (especially the 30-40 somethings).
