Ten-Second Takeaway

Buttery naans and authentic kebabs, here is where we go to satisfy our cravings for North Indian khaana.

Mirch Masala

Walk in and the quirky decor will scream out to you {there is literally a taxi hanging from the wall}. The Bollywood theme with the posters hanging from the wall and dhaba-like atmosphere will put you in the mood for intensely buttery, garlicky naans and melt-in-your-mouth paneer at Mirch Masala. You might not get great pictures because the lighting is dim, but the food is spectacular.

Kaafila

The theme here is Afghan reflected in the menu, and the decor – rugs and upholstery, and cloth-covered ceilings. The Irani and Kabuli kebabs are divine and the naans hearty – try the Khurmi Naan and Keema Naan which are satisfying and can even be eaten by themselves.

Oudh 1590

Ostentatious, elaborate, intricately decorated, Oudh will take you back to the Mughal era. The light instrumental music playing in the background, wooden feel and grand chandeliers complement the indulgent Awadhi cuisine. The Mutton Galouti Kebab is succulent and light while the Awadhi Handi Biryani {which comes served in a handi} is packed with flavour.

Gabbar’s Bar And Kitchen

Get ready for a molecular gastronomical journey like never before. Pull out the camera because these dishes are Insta-worthy. They come served in everything from a mini ferris wheel to plates that look like they have grass on them to faux bird’s nests. The molecular food comes highly recommended. Bonus points for the catchy Bollywood posters and quirky, cartoon-like art on the wall.
