Located in the main area of Baner, K - Factory is one of the most popular restaurants in town, known for its mouth-watering food and yummy, melt-in-the-mouth desserts! A spacious place is done up in simple and classic interiors with wooden seating, brick walls and dim lights.Vintage commercial products and posters of classic Hollywood flicks adorn the walls. It also offers an array of extremely desirable delicacies, ranging from North Indian, Italian to Continental cuisines.
We had a lot of stuff, starting with Spicy Paprika Peppers Flatbread - this had mushrooms, tomato concasse and mozzarella; Goan Chorizo Sausages Flatbread - this is delicious, it had sausages, caramelized onions, tomato concasse and mozzarella; Roasted Chicken Drumsticks - this was just so yum, from its presentation to its taste, it was just perfect. Slowly roasted chicken covered in paprika puree served with a generous dribble of sour cream is mind-blowing. And for mains, we opted for Cottage Cheese Lasagna - tandoori roasted cottage cheese tossed in tikka masala layered in lasagna, had an Indo-Italian twist to it; Clay Oven Roasted Chicken - chicken slow-roasted in a clay oven and tossed in makhani sauce; Panfried Chicken - tossed in paprika puree, served with spaghetti aglio e olio and stir-fried veggies. Then came time for desserts. We were already full, but then you always end up saving someplace for something sweet.
Dark Chocolate, Orange and Cointreau Mousse - served with caramelized walnuts, strawberry compote and choco biscuit dust. The dark chocolate mousse with a hint of orange, loaded with chocolate chips was the perfect ending to the meal. With every bite, the dessert only tasted better. Guess what, we even ended up ordering one more of this, for one just wasn't enough for us to savour. Red wine velvet cheesecake is a dollop of chantilly cream with red velvet crumble is a treat for those who enjoy the red velvet. The cake was very soft and we really enjoyed this too.
