What Is It?

Going strong and proud since 1878, Dorabjee & Sons Restaurant is a Parsi cafe run by the fourth-generation Dorabjee Sorabjee Chindy family. Dorabjee has become a sort of a heritage or a culture that is deeply engraved in Pune- its memory. Heartwarmingly old-fashioned, the ambience is bare minimum—formica tables, plastic chairs and bare damp walls. At Dorabjee’s they believe in serving customers the best of Parsi cuisine for an extremely low price.

Why Should I Go?

For the love of authentic Parsi cuisine! Our list of favourites is quite long. The Dum Biriyani (INR 300), Mutton Kheema {INR 150} and Mutton Paya {INR 250} are highly recommended!

If you’re a fish person, order the Dorabjee special pomfret fillet. The dish is a burst of flavours—the freshness of coriander leaves, the subtle hotness from the green chillies and the beautiful balance of the desiccated coconut. The dish is cooked to perfection!

Anything Else?

Drop by on a Sunday. Try out the Dorabjee special menu comprising Mutton Cutlet {INR 50}, Chicken Dhasak with brown rice {INR 250} and Patra Fish {INR 250}.
