What Makes It Awesome

Coffee lovers, there's a new cafe in town that is brewing everything from a latte macchiato to a lungo, an affogato and ginger turmeric espresso tonic. Say hi to Cafe Zen at Koregaon Park for some fresh brews and lip-smacking Italian delights.

Cafe Zen has a dedicated brew bar where they make artisanal coffee using methods like Aeropress and pour over. We particularly enjoyed our smooth espresso martini with a tinge of hazelnut. For those of you who aren't into coffee, try out their spiced hot chocolate although we have to say this drink is quite experimental and not grows on you slowly. Additionally, Cafe Zen has a wonderful range of teas too - bay leaf and cinnamon infused Assam tea, ginger-mint chai, fresh apple and rosemary tea - you name it and you've got it all.

Coming to the food, we thought that the menu is very sophisticated and incorporates tons of homegrown and handpicked ingredients. We absolutely loved our teriyaki tofu with soba noodles and roasted pumpkin ravioli tossed in thyme butter sauce. Both dishes were light and had some great depths of flavours. For desserts, we highly recommend you try the chocolate hazelnut ganache.

The ambience, on the other hand, is quite airy and minimal. The wooden notes, glassy panes and hanging lamps add to the serenity of the space which actually also does justice to the name. Overall, we think Zen Cafe is definitely worth a visit with your close friends.
