We happened to visit a gorgeous restaurant and it's a venture by India's chic brands, Fabindia. With interiors that are a treat to sore eyes, visit Fabcafe on ITI Road in Aundh atop the Fabindia showroom. The place is known to give healthy twist to modern cuisine from across the world.
Done in tropical and nautical shades, the place has a cheerful and summer vibe to it. You will find colourful decor in the form of wall art, hangings and indoor plants. The table setting is impeccable and if you are out for a brunch, there is nothing like it.
Talking about the food, it is curated from different regions of the world. Their specialty is that they give a healthy twist to their menu. Their drinks menu consisted of healthy fruit juices, smoothies and shakes. We tried their signature ganna juice and mango mint shake. We beat the scorching heat with these summer drinks and highly recommend you to try it.
For starters, we tried the beetroot and lotus stem tikki chat. The mains consisted of a variety of items. However, we chose to try the classic Parsi dish, chicken dhansak made in ghee and keto cauliflower rice. For breads, we tried the singhoda roti and quinoa chapati. Those who are looking for vegan or keto options will enjoy their keto dishes. For desserts, we tried the yummy pancakes with fresh fruits and syrups.
Did you know they also have a child care/ recreation centre called Tugbug where you can drop off your tots while you shop downstairs or dine at the restaurant. They also have a kid's special menu, which consists of light delicacies.
