I was at I Amsterdam for a Saturday lunch and I was famished, heard a lot about this place and my gangs was totally in the beast mode. The place gives you a different vibe where they have so many types of seating! A damn boat in the water to dine in. What else would you want from a place?
They have private cabanas to open places to sit and chill and a huge fancy bar with an amazing collection.
The mocktails were crazy good. We had a plum lady which is by far my favourite and a must-try out here. Granny Smith was also a good choice.
To be honest, I never quite go for the salads but as per the gang demand, we ordered Satay chicken salad and it was just the thing I wanted .it had that crunch and was juicy and the chicken was perfectly cooked.
Coming to the starters, I was sceptical about ordering veg but I was flabbergasted. It was so good. Never thought I would be saying that about veg!
We had paneer tikka tacos, paneer makhani baos which were bursting out and were crammed with paneer and sauces. I loved it.
Do try out sambal prawns skewers which were by far the spiciest prawns I ever had in my food walk.
There are few dishes which are so good at some places that spread from word of mouth and I heard about pumpkin ravioli served here. We ordered it and I was in awe! It was scrumptious and cooked yo perfection, well garnished!
The other main that is a must to try out is Five spice chicken leg with crispy potato and charred beans. I have no words to say about but just that you cant expect something better than that! The chicken was well marinated and the quality of ingredients used to tell you about the place as well.
Desserts are to die for here! There is a saying that a place is no good if the desserts are not a standout! And this place rightly adapts the saying. We tried banoffee pie, white chocolate and tangerine cream Brulee and walnut pie. The pie just melted in my mouth as soon as it landed. Do try out the desserts, they are worth it.
Overall, the place justifies your experience and is a great junction to come with your gang and have some drinks and chill out with some amazing food.
