We heard about a theme park in Pune with a bowling alley, a football court, badminton turf, a gaming zone, and probably the biggest trampoline park in the city. So we made a quick trip to check if it was worth the hype.
Located on Katraj Road, Flying Panda Theme Park is on a steep hill by the highway. As soon as you enter, neon lights guide your eyes towards all the exciting activities you can do. Divided into different sections: the theme park boasts exciting activities like the play zone with kid-friendly rides and games, a four-lane bowling alley to duke it out with your friends, a separate floor for dance battles, and a basketball court. But the thing that drew our attention was the trampoline park.
For the uninitiated, a trampoline park is a like a basketball court but covered with trampolines and spring-loaded frames to help you bounce off the walls doing tricks. You can jump as far as you like, dance, dunk, and more. There is also a pit filled with foam cubes to practise backflips or to get your adrenaline pumping. If it is your first time on a trampoline, it might take some time to get used to, but thankfully there are expert coaches on the floor to teach you a few easy tricks. Trust us when we say this, it is way more fun than it looks.
All those activities drained our energy, but thankfully, there was a cafe on the top floor to get snacks and drinks. Overlooking the entire park, Cafe Flying Panda serves a variety of snacks and beverages to give you a boost of energy for another round of play.
