What Makes It Awesome

There is an eatery in Bavdhan that has a peaceful, minimalist and tidy ambience. We absolutely love the colourful walls and murals as they add authenticity to South Exotica's theme. Experience fresh and airy vibes, thanks to green climbers that hang against a wall. If you are someone who loves South Indian dishes out of your mother's cookbook, do try this place.

We tried the Alappey fish curry along with neer dosa and appam. It was a refreshing combination. The fish was soft and its coconut-based gravy was reasonably spiced while the neer dosa was pretty average.

However, if you're looking to get the most out of your money, consider their thalis. We ordered a veg South Indian thali that included dakshin curry, phool gobi, sambar , a piece of Kerala laccha parotta and appam. Foodies, you will be impressed with the variety of offerings and the quantity given in meals. So, go ahead and get a glimpse of South India right here in Pune.

What Could Be Better

Due to the restaurant’s new opening, many of the bread options were not available. We really wanted to explore all the options but sadly, had to hold back.
