Just Roots, a healthy cafe in Kharadi, serves some of the most delicious smoothies, fresh salads, and organic teas we've ever had in the city. But what caught our attention was their locally sourced speciality food store that offers a variety of organic, natural, chemical-free products that are hard to find anywhere else.
While there are many cafes in town, Just Roots serves some of the healthiest beverages you'll ever have. From traditional teas to herbal infusions to even kombuchas, the beverage options are healthy and delicious. You can also try Sukku Banam, a caffeine-free ginger and coriander-based drink with multiple health benefits. We suggest trying them with the ragi and multigrain cookies.
What we loved is that it's not just their drinks that are fabulous, even the short but power-packed food menu features some interesting bites. The Chocolate Smoothie Bowl that is made with banana, cocoa, coconut milk, and dates, is a great way to start the day. The salads, especially the mixed greens with steamed sprouts and boiled tofu with veggies, are worth raving about.
But the most unique thing about this spot is their all-natural food, personal, and home care products that we keep going back for. The first floor is the cafe, and the ground floor is the speciality food store where you can pick up an exclusive range of Isha Life products. From copper bottles with affirmations, to herbal infusions, soaps, scents, and more, you'll find a wide range that isn't available anywhere else. Even Isha Life merchandise like t-shirts, dhotis, caps, and more are available. We also found organic ghee, flours, cold-pressed oils, pickles, and more from Two Brothers Organic Farms.
Just Roots also has a zero-waste section where you'll find locally sourced everyday food items like grains, millet, spices, and more.
