Kanteenwala is located near kalikapur and has recently opened up to create a good buzz around the city. The restaurant is located on the 1st floor of the building, themed after college canteens with quirky wall art and rustic furniture. The ambience is fun and family friendly and the price is also quite affordable. They offer a variety of dishes such as butter chicken khichdi to polao and kosha mangsho. You can get a few fusion dishes as well as some authentic.
Pan fried chilly fish is my favourite appetizer option because of the crispiness on the outside and soft fish inside with spicy tangy taste makes it drooling. Kanteenwala has so many authentic Chinese dishes as well as some fushion canteen style delicacies.
