It’s been a looong day at work, the weekend is nowhere in sight, and you desperately need some downtime. We all know the feeling, right? Kharadi folks, we’ve tried to make it easier by putting this list together for you. Here are 5 bars to hit up for post-work drinks and chill scenes, in Kharadi.

Effingut Brewerkz

Effingut is a brewpub that needs no introduction. Their third outlet in Kharadi promises just as much fun and excitement as the first two, so you won’t be missing out. Go for their fresh beer – like the Best Bitter, Kölsch, and Hefeweizen. Ask for their seasonal brews, and try something new if you’re feeling experimental. Effingut Kharadi is currently running a special Scotch menu, so whiskey drinkers – have at it! For munchies, they have ‘Kharadi Specials’ – pizza and kathi rolls to go with your drinks, and their regular food menu as well. The kitchen is open until12.00am, and the bar takes orders until 1.00am – but you can hang back until 1.30am when they officially close for the night.

Cafe 1730

Just over six months old, Cafe 1730 in Kharadi is the second outlet of this buzzing brand. Popular for their Goan food, they also serve Continental and pan-Indian fare. Sip on their ‘1730’s Barman’s Pitcher’, go classic with their Whiskey Sour, or brave their ‘Bull LIIT’ {a Long Island Iced Tea mixed with an energy drink}. The vibe here is super-chill, so kick back and relax with drinks over a good meal – and forget all about your work-day. #LBBTip: Don’t miss out on their boozy Sunday brunch, and live music performances.

The FML Lounge

One of four upcoming outlets in the city, The FML Lounge in Kharadi is popular for its pocket-friendly fare. We recommend sticking to your favourite alcohol with mixers or ask for their house special cocktails. Pair that with their tandoori starters, or signature FML burgers – and you’re good to go! Ask them for their Corporate Discount, and get up to 10% off on your food bill. #LBBTip: On occasion, they may screen live football matches – keep that in mind for those late office nights when you won’t make it home in time for kick-off!

Texas Tower

Immensely popular for office parties, flambè gulab jamun {more on that here}, and stellar views {they offer rooftop, indoor, and outdoor seating}, Texas Tower is a no-brainer when it comes to after-hours spots in Kharadi. Their cocktail menu is a long list of classic and favourites, so choose something slightly unusual – like their ‘Pineapple-Pepper Martini’, ‘Burnt Almond’ {a tequila cocktail}, or ‘Fuzzy Jack and Coke’ to go with their Tex-Mex and Indian food.
