What Makes It Awesome?

We found a place where you can exercise your love for Italian food, Laa Unico is a vegetarian Italian restaurant near Sujay Garden at Swargate, will remind you of an old-school pub in Italy.

If you’re looking for a quaint date night spot (and also are a vegetarian), Laa Unico fits the bill perfectly. It’s has a beautiful rooftop setup with wooden cabanas on the side. There’s an indoor setting too, with caged lanterns, rustic furniture, brown walls and antique hangings at various corners.

The food menu is vast, purely vegetarian and is an assortment of Italian, Mexican, Continental, Indian and Oriental cuisines. We absolutely loved their contadina, which is basically a salad comprising fresh tomatoes, garlic, basil, onions, green beans dressed with extra virgin olive oil.

Their pizzas, on the other hand, have a thin crust base and are 12 inches. While most of them sound great, definitely try their Julia Roberts pizza with onion, capsicum, sun-dried tomatoes, jalapenos, olives, marinated with chilly oil, topped with lots of coriander and mozzarella, on a tomato sauce base. Do not miss their Khaman Oxide!

You can also try their Mexican and Indian dishes. We hear their enchiladas and pav bhaji sizzler are to die for. For desserts though, don’t look beyond Chocolate Landscape, which is quite literally the epitome of chocolate dessert comprising mud cake soil, brownie chunks and oodles of chocolate sauce. Besides, they have six variations of chocolate desserts too!

A meal for two at this vegetarian restaurant will cost you INR 1,500. It also offers a valet service, serves Jain food and is kid-friendly. We recommend you make a reservation before you head here.

Pro-Tip

Date night or simple reunion with college buds, Laa Unico sets the mood for everything. We hear the candle-light dinners are super romantic here.
