Carambolim Lake

A birdwatcher's dream, this man-made lake is home to tons of birds, both those who live there year-round and those who migrate in for a seasonal visit. It has also been declared a bird sanctuary because of its amazing diversity! Some birds love hanging out by the water, while others prefer chilling on land. Most of them are herbivores, munching on plants but there are even some fish-loving birds that add a bit of hunting action to the mix. Netravali Bubbling Lake

Netravali Lake, also known as Budbud, Budbudyachi Tali, or Bubble Lake, is located in the peaceful village of Netravali. It's famous for its bubbles that continuously rise to the surface. Interestingly, these bubbles respond to certain sounds and rise faster if you clap! Despite being called a lake, it's more like a pond with granite steps leading to it and a large granite pedestal in the centre. This spot holds religious significance for the locals, not just for the bubbles, but also because of the nearby Gopinath Temple. Get there and come back feeling fizzy! Not just that, explore the Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary situated nearby.
