Gun for Glory is a shooting academy which was started by Padmashri Gagan Narang and Shri Pawan Singh to promote shooting as a sport. The academy is designed with close attention to detail and is situated at Shiv Chatrapati Sports complex 50m shooting range, Balewadi, Pune.

The customised training plans are designed by foreign coaches on the basis of SWOT analysis. The courses also offer shooters gun testing facility {testing each barrel & selecting best pellets for every barrel and maintaining availability for a year’s training}, peak performance management, a link up with an educational institution and a residential tie-up.

They have three courses up for offer:

The First Shot course teaches with air guns and costs INR 5,500. The course is 6 days a week with Thursdays off. The duration is two hours per sessions and the timings are 9am to 11am and 4pm to 6pm. You can also opt for the weekend batch that is for 3 hours, from 11am to 2pm.

The First Pull course teaches with shotguns and costs INR 12,000. The duration of the course is 5 days a week, from Monday to Saturday with Thursdays off. Each session is 2 hours long and the timings are 10am to 12pm. This too has a weekend batch from 10am to 12pm.

The third course called First Boom, teaches with .22 pistols. It costs INR 20,000 and is 5 days a week, from Monday to Saturday, with Thursdays off. The sessions are again for 2 hours and go on from 9am to 11am and 2pm to 4pm. The course includes specialisation for either sports pistol or free pistol.

Apart from these three they also offer a crash course for shooters who wish to enhance their skills and improve their techniques. These crash courses could be for 5 days, 10 days, 15 days, 20 Days, 25 Days and 30 days and are conducted by Indian and foreign coaches.
