This New Kiosk Has Authentic Baos, Sui Mai, Soups & More Starting At Just INR 40

Kolkata’s legendary Chinese goods brand, Pou Chong, has just opened a store-cum-fast food kiosk and we’re all lining up for their readymade treats.

A newly opened outlet in Kasba is offering a slew of traditional Chinese grub such as dim sums, bao, sui mai, soups {if you’re on the look out for fish ball soup, here’s where you get it!} and more. They have more than a dozen kinds of bao — not just the regular chicken and pork but also chicken honey sesame bao and hot garlic bao. The menu starts at just INR 40 so two can feed here for under INR 300!

The outlet is run by Pou Chong — if you’ve lived in the city, you know Kolkata Chinese food and Pou Chong are synonymous. Their most famous outlet, near Territi Bazaar, sells their signature sauces, condiments and {of late} some readymade Chinese snacks like momos, baos, dim sums and sui mais. The new Kasba kiosk too will have all their bottled products so you don’t have to make your way all the way to Territi Bazaar to get your hands on them.
