You can also try your hand at ice skating, archery, and rifle shooting.

Check out the replicas of the wonders of the world, pick up handmade goods from Biswa Bangla Haat, dine at the lakeside Cafe Ekante or try Japanese food at the restaurant inside the park. Check out the different gardens located within the park. The kids can play in the Children’s park or the gaming zones available inside. There’s just so much to do here.

If you’re a water baby, Aquatica is the best place for you to chill. So, pack your swim suits and head to the oldest and largest water park in eastern India. Brace yourself for fun and thrilling rollercoasters and water park rides that take ‘going with the flow’ to another level. Twist, turn and splash, or merely float around all day—the choice is yours. Choose from a wide variety of rides like the Black Hole, Cyclone, Pendulum, Jungle Safari, Aqua Dance, and more. If you’re up for a getaway, book a stay at their stunning and luxurious resort.

Check Out Nazrul Tirtha

Nazrul Tirtha is this amazing cultural centre that was set up to pay tribute to Kazi Nazrul Islam, the rebel poet. This gem of a place features an exhibition showcasing the poet's life and work, a public library housing a whopping 15,000 books, three cinema halls that screen the latest movies, two art galleries, an open-air theatre where you can watch a performance under the starry sky, and an AV studio for all you audio/visual wizards out there. Laa Mozarellla is an amazing place for Italian food while Glook is the place to be if you are looking for a rooftop lounge.

Visit Parks Named After Satyajit Ray’s Films

New Town is home to quite a few parks named after the legendary Satyajit Ray. There are four that you can visit - Feluda Park or Sonar Kella Udyan, Apur Sansar Park, Professor Shonku Park, and Satyajit Ray Park located inside Eco Park. Apur Sansar Park is a themed park inspired by the iconic Bengali film Apur Sansar directed by Ray. It features sculptures and installations representing various scenes and elements from the movie.

Feluda Park is dedicated to the famous fictional detective character by the same name and features statues and installations depicting Feluda, his sidekick Topshe, and other memorable characters and scenes from the stories. Professor Shonku Park brings to life one of Ray’s most beloved characters through a replica of the scientist and his Omniscope, his iconic lab, and graffiti art. There’s a park dedicated to Ray inside Eco Park, which showcases his contribution to Indian cinema through statues, sculptures, installations, and other artistic displays.
