Are you a fan of rich flavours that challenges and excites your palate? Well who isn’t. Indian cuisine is filled with different flavours from different parts of the country. Located opposite Aga Khan Palace, Northern Frontier serves up some delicious Kashmiri, Punjabi and Mughlai food.
The restaurant has an old world charm and almost takes you back to the times when we used to visit simple family restaurants with our parents. They do both indoor and outdoor seating and have a fully stocked bar. The bar is designed in beautiful teak wood carvings and looks like it’s a part of an old mansion.
If you are visiting this place for a hearty meal, then we surely have a few recommendations for you that you absolutely have to try. If you are vegetarian then try their nadur chips for INR 265 that are crispy fried lotus stems and their bharwan khumb peshawari for INR 250 as starters. If you are looking for the real deal, then try their phoolgobi rogan josh for INR 265, which is a vegetarian rendition of the decadent mutton rogan josh. For all the carnivores out there, try their range of kebabs especially the murgh kalmi kulfi for INR 295. In main course, go for their jungli maas, yakhni pulao and shahjahani murgh for INR 315.
So if you are looking for a royal meal then we would suggest visiting Northern Frontier with an empty stomach. A meal for two at this restaurant would cost you approximately INR 1,200 including taxes.
