What Makes It Awesome?

On a monsoon afternoon when my heart cries for steamy momos then I can only think of Doma Wang's magic with dough and meat. The 'Momo Queen' of Kolkata is known for her expertise in creating skin-thin translucent momo stuffed with your favourite meat inside the kitchen of The Blue Poppy - Thakali.

Mutton Momo is crescent-shaped, steamed and stuffed with mildly spiced minced mutton. One must not miss trying these with condiment chilli sauce. The sauce is a paste of Dalley chilli, garlic and salt. Dip the momo slightly in the chilli sauce and put it inside your mouth. The burst of mutton juice and flavour with a punch of chilli and garlic, a bliss. Word of caution, the sauce is so hot that you will breathe fire like a dragon.
