What Makes It Awesome?

As a child, I was always fascinated by stories. But after I grew up, I realised it was just fiction. Now, I am always so keen to know the story behind a place. So when I came to know about Purnabramha (I had read a lot of good reviews and some stories that relates to women empowerment), I couldn't stop myself from visiting this place. And oh boy, this place is amazing!
The food was as delicious as it can be. Let me quickly tell you about my favourites here:

1. Ukarpendi: A truly traditional dish, Ukarpendi was a meal in itself. Warm, healthy, tasty and comforting to my gut, this Maharashtrian spiced dish had a rustic and homely touch!
2. Dadpe Pohe: TBH, this was the first time I tried this dish. Since it was my first, I had no expectations of how the taste would be. Slightly salty, a bit sweet and wholesomely delicious, it was hard to believe that the poha was uncooked.
3. Ukadiche Modak: A flavourful combination of coconut and jaggery, these melt-in-the-mouth Modaks were delightful. What made it even more delectable was the perfect amalgamation of the stuffing blended with a balanced amount of sweetness!
4. Mango Piyush: Saving the best for the last!! I hate shrikhand. I legit do. And this drink had Shrikhand in it, so you can imagine my dilemma of trying this. But the mango flavour completely changed the game for me. The rich, thick and creamy beverage was an absolute treat to my taste buds!

Another fact: Everything is freshly prepared and no soda or preservatives are added. This does take 10-15 minutes for the food to be prepared and served, but the traditional Marathi music playing in the background will keep you hooked to the place.

Be it the ambience, the food quality or their story, everything is just so pure and inspiring.
