Oxford Bookstore’s Cha Bar has introduced a cool array of bubble teas and bubble shakes just perfect for a hot and sultry afternoon. Cha Bar is not only serving us regular Bubble Tea, but is also serving us some cool new flavours. From green apple to blueberry and strawberry, they have also introduced a bubble milk tea. And then there are the pearl milkshakes that come with liquid-filled pearls in various other flavours like raspberry, mango, cherry and others. We are losing it over these tapioca pearls and the pocket friendly prices – INR 160 and INR 180.
If you don’t know what bubble tea is, here’s a quick primer. Bubble tea or boba tea is a Taiwanese tea-based drink that come in different fruit and shake flavours. What makes them stand out is, of course, the chewy tapioca balls they contain. These tapioca balls or boba pearls as they are called float to the bottom of the drink and makes for a unique experience.
