What Makes It Awesome
Throttle Shrottle is bound to take you by surprise. A biker’s cafe, the open-air rustic vibe is super chill. You walk over a small wooden bridge to be greeted by their Great Dane — Piston. It’s a very different kind of cafe — there’s some great RnB music playing, Bob Marley posters, funky stickers, parts of motorbikes, and the roof’s made of aluminium tin. This open-air cafe should be on your go-to list, and you need to tick it off soon!Simple, wholesome food is what they serve. The chicken keema pav has the right amount of spice with the perfect amount of butter on the pav. The chicken sandwich is cheesy and will leave you craving for more. Lovers of chai, do try their 100 Miles Tea {INR 40} — you can’t have just one cup of the delicious blend of ginger tea and milk. Perfect for the long drive that leads you to Throttle Shrottle. Also try out the French press coffee and lemonade — you can’t go wrong when you order this.
Throttle Shottle was a passion project which was started off by two brothers, a transition from a Delhi garage {which played English music} to a cafe. If you happen to meet any of the brothers, feel free to strike a conversation. They are extremely friendly and will keep you engaged and tell you anything you want to know about the place. Have an armband from a concert that you have no need for anymore? Or perhaps a part of an automobile? Give it to them, they will hang it in their cafe as a souvenir.
Ride up there at night to feel the real vibe of the place. The laser lights liven up the open space, giving it a whole new look!
