Broke but looking for the best deals on drinks? Look no further. Head to Shisha Bar Stock Exchange, the sister branch of the hugely-popular stock market themed pub Bar Stock Exchange, and come out feeling heady, happy and high.
Located on the fifth floor of the Westside building on Camac Street, we were pretty impressed with their rustic-themed interiors. Cemented floors, high-raised colourful chairs, brick walls, table fans used as lights, alcohol bottles hanging from the bar top -- the deco spells quirky in caps.
Wondering what's the mystery behind the name? Well, they have a variable bar menu. There's a massive LED screen where you can trace the prices of alcohol, which fluctuates as per the rise and fall of the stock market. You can even order from their inbuilt app and, if you're lucky enough, you might just be able to avail a peg of Old Monk for INR 30 or 30ml of vodka for INR 90! (We know you are saving this recommendation already!) The best part? When the stock market crashes (i.e all prices crash), a siren starts blazing aloud inside the pub!
They have kept the food menu pretty basic. We tried their Chicken Malai Tikka, Curd Rice Fritters (tangy and crispy at the same time) and Mutton Seekh Kebab Roomali Wrap (melted in our mouths, literally!). A meal for two here will cost you INR 1,500.
