This little roadside stall run by a middle-aged, bespectacled fella is bang opposite Manyavar {the one close to Junior Brothers, Ananda bookstore and Cellar Wines}. It grabbed our attention with its small display of elegant linen, jute and canvas totes. Trust us, his stock of linen bags was high-end quality. Not just the texture, colours and patterns, but the chic, good quality leather handles also add an element of style to these trendy totes. The best part? The man {who refused to be named} asked for INR 250 {for the big blue one} and INR 250 {for the beige one featured above and the blue and white one you can see below}. But we bargained like crazy and got it down to INR 150 and 250. The bags have single button closure, a pocket inside with zips and lots of space inside, enough to fit all your stuff – books, booze, or your gym kit, pick your poison!  And they have this lovely striped lining in luxe cotton that gives them an extra touch of coolness.
