Pune foodies, cannot venture out to satiate your biryani cravings? Order in and feast on different kinds of aromatic biryanis from The Biryani Experiment, a delivery kitchen having multiple outlets in the city. The lockdown part deux has put a full stop on our outing till the end of the month, so brace up for the 2020 deja vu.
I tried the biryanis and simply loved the taste. To begin with, I tried the vegetarian versions (achari paneer tikka biryani and Afghani veg biryani) and loved the sustainable packaging of paper and bamboo sheet. The box also contains cutlery, so if you order in, you won't have any dishes to do! Anyway, the flavours were distinct and I loved the achari paneer tikka in the aromatic bed of rice.
The Biryani Experiment is known for preparing biryanis with flavours from different parts of India. You can try the special Colaba Chicken biryani, Afghani boneless mutton biryani, Kochi pepper chicken biryani, Nizami Murg Dam biryani. Along with the food, you can try yummy desserts such as rasmalai, rasgulla, gulab jamun, walnut brownie, choco lava, and Anguri rasmalai. I tried the chilled angoori jamuns.
One biryani is sufficient for 1 person. A meal for two is INR 700-800 with two biryanis and a dessert.
