What Makes It Awesome?

The Great Indian Khau Gully, the name is enough to state its value. It is situated in crowded lanes of MG road. The concept is awesome, getting a variety of cuisines under one roof. This place opens at 6.30 am. They offer some combos in breakfast till 11 am and then they headed towards the mains.

This place almost has 8 restaurants inside which have a common seating area in the middle. The ambience is good and pleasant. The management is awesome. Let's talk about food.

I tried Kung pao chicken from Wong's and it was tasty nicely tossed in sauce, a medium spicy dish.

Then I tried Corn cheese balls, Chicken Shammi kebab, Chicken Russian kebab and Gajar ka halwa from Deguchi's. Corn cheese balls were nice, crisp and not oily at all. Chicken Shammi kebab and Russian kebab were delicious. Highly recommended from me. About Gajar halwa then I don't like it at all. It was not good in taste, texture and colour.

Next, I tried Spring roll dosa from Udupi house. Trust me it was one of the best dosa I had in Pune. A proper south Indian sambar and chutney and a nice crisp and soft dosa, the satisfaction.

Next, We tried Dahi Kebab, Paneer pasanda, Mutton rogan josh, Lagan ka Murg, subz Makhan Wala, Veg biryani from Khansama Rehman. Trust me all the dishes were finger-licking' good. But the most I liked were Dahi Kebab, Paneer Pasanda, Lagan ka Murg and veg biryani. The presentation, texture and taste were awesome.

In desserts, we ordered Double ka meetha and Mirchi ka Halwa, yeah you heard me right Mirchi ka halwa made up of Shimla Mirchi (Capsicum). Although its name is weird the taste is delicious. So from me, Dahi Kebab, Paneer pasanda, veg biryani, Mirchi ka halwa are highly recommended.

Last and my favourite we visited Haji Juice centre and Rajkot Gola. At Haji's we tried Dragon fruit milkshake, Haji double special Falooda, Kulfi. All the items were drooling but my most favourite ones are Haji double special Falooda and Kulfi. Kulfi was perfect in texture and taste. On its very 1st bite I got lost in my childhood memories connected with kulfi. So delicious. And talking about the Haji double special Falooda then just yummy. Both kulfi and Falooda are highly recommended by me.

Now talking about Rajkot gola then this opens after 3 pm but yeah they do serves big gola. We tried Gujarat special Gola which was consisting lot of dry fruits inside the crushed ice, topped with the delicious Kala khatta syrup which was pretty thick, sprinkled with a lot of Mava, dry fruits, choco bites, milkmaid, crushed coconut and strawberry syrup. Yum yum, the taste was mind-blowing.

Hence this place you must visit. Here the service is really good. All place and restaurant are hygienic and clean. They have done art on a wall where you can take your pictures/selfies. This place is pocket-friendly. Hence from big groups to family or dates, this place will be always a good option to visit.
