Even though this cafe is on the main Vagator road, finding it can be a bit of a challenge as the space is dimly lit, and the signboard outside is easy to miss. But once found, Buon Apetito is a great place for Italian food on a budget. Plus, the soft candlelit ambience makes it perfect for a date night.

What Makes It Awesome?
Buon Apetito is Harjeet's first cafe (he worked at the popular Piccola Roma nearby for years), and he ensures that every dish is as good, if not better than some of the Italian fine-dine places.
This small restaurant is made up of some 5-6 tables that rest under a tin shed roof, but hey, don't let the appearance throw you off. The food here is freshly-made and a total value for money. A lovely thin crust pizza 10" that we ordered came generously covered with pepperoni at just INR 360. A yummy beef lasagne (which again, was a sizeable portion) was INR 320, and a hearty baked cannelloni in a delish tomato, garlic and olive oil was just INR 270.
They have a wonderful range of salads, soups, homemade ravioli, risottos and what we have been told, are the most amazing gnocchi dishes. Since we were too full, especially after eating that yummy crepe with custard (only INR 100), we decided to save their gnocchi for another time.
They are open every day from 12pm to midnight, but it might get warm in the day time there. Get yourself a chilled beer (INR 70 for a Tuborg pint) to help with the afternoon heat.
They also home deliver Italian grub in the vicinity.
