No Kids, Please: Goa Just Got An 'Adults Only' Boutique Hotel

‘Anything but ordinary’ has been the motto for The Park Hotels & they are definitely leading the charge with this first-of-its-kind hotel in Goa called The Park Baga River Hotel, which is an adults-only hotel. So basically, if you are under 18, this hotel is not for you, unless of course, you book the full hotel. This also means you could do some great laps or just lounge in the pool with no kids splashing you or your drinks. And did we mention that the pool stays open quite late, and has a DJ playing every evening? And you could get head & feet massages by the pool too, to feel totally pampered. And though the hotel is close enough to all the action, it is still far away to catch some quiet.

The Park Baga River Hotel is where adults can go to have fun, and it starts with the welcome drink which is an Urak cocktail (a local summer drink). The fun carries on, in your room with a complimentary Goan minibar consisting of a miniature set of the local favourite Feni, a Paul John whiskey, a King’s Beer & a Port wine bottle. Or just order their picnic trolleys, which for a charge will come fully equipped with food and a full cocktail set of your choice. We loved that their breakfast is open every day until 11am, at the restaurant or get it in bed at no extra charge. Do try their ‘Hangover Cure Drink’ that they offer at breakfast when you have had a wild night out. This 24-hour restaurant Saltwater, serves a mix of Goan, North India, European, Fusion as well as ghar ka khana favourites like rajma chawal if the mood strikes for it. Their Goan Bento Box is definitely worth a try, and no kids running around the restaurant knocking things over. Now, how great is that! Tariff starts at INR 10,000 for a regular room, which is super luxurious with comfy beds, prompt service, complimentary Wi-Fi, a view overlooking the river or the village and of course the standard amenities like toiletries, air-conditioning, safe, fridge, daily shuttles to the beaches etc

If you book their terrace suite, then you could even get a candlelit dinner served while you watch the sunset over the river with your partner. Now, isn’t that romantic? Or just ask them to arrange sunset river cruise with beer on board, for those perfect Insta worthy shots or talk by (famous Goan Artist & Historian) Subodh Kerkar on food that was fun and informative. For the early risers, a yoga session or a bike ride can be arranged too. Or have them call you one of their 24/7 driver on demand to take you wherever your heart desires. The staff & service, the no kids rule and all the add ons definitely make this one of our favourite hotels in Goa.
