Inspired by the big bull that was drawn on a rock by an unknown artist right next to bar location, the Big Bull Beach Bar was named so. Now, this Palolem bar’s logo is painted on that large rock. And this is the very rock is where the beach breeze hits and flows all through the bar. The open-air bar has a very chill and rustic vibe to it. Perfect to spend a lazy day sipping some drinks as well as a working one which is possible thanks to their high speed wifi.
This award-winning bar located in South Goa is founded by a Hyderabadi couple Parthiv and Shreya. This also means they have some original Hyderabadi delicacies like chicken majestic, chicken tikka kadi patta and chicken tokri. And who doesn’t love an authentic biryani, right? They serve the Hyderabadi biryani with some superb mirchi ka salan and raita. And these are all prepared by their old chef who they got along from their hometown. They also mellow down the spices as per your liking.
Apart from these, they serve Indian, Chinese, Continental and Italian. So, there is something for everyone including health-conscious foodies. Their menu includes everything ranging from soups to salads and their food is barely oily.
In 2022, the Big Bull Beach bar won the Times Hospitality Icons award for the iconic premium beach bar and restaurant category. It surely lives up to it with the mouth-watering drinks that they also serve. Their Cafe Colada is a hit with everyone, and the better part is it's not ridiculously sweet. Their virgin watermelon margarita and its alcoholic version, Tipsy Watermelon are other stars. For beer lovers, the Coronarita is the go-to.
Popular with celebs like Jim Sarbh and Vijay Raaz, this beach front bar goes through some metamorphosis after the sun goes down. There’s relaxing yellow lights, live music five days a week and a whole lot of dancing on the floor.
