Tucked away in one of the small lanes of Fontainhas, Joseph Bar was nothing short of a gem we found while strolling in the area.
My friends and I resonated the feeling of the place being an old-school Goan cafe, and we just couldn't resist the temptation of going inside.
The ambience isn't the atypical loud, boisterous place swarming with people in and out. Its dim-lit, with some good music played at a softer tone, giving it the typical 'susegado' vibe.
They have their specially crafted beers which will most certainly play with your tastebuds!
However, food a foodie like me , what stood out was the chicken samosa- three plates down, and the monster in me craved for more!
A special mention to the person helping us out- 'Gundu', as he was fondly called. He spoke to us and within five minutes of the conversation, understood the kind of travellers we were and gave us some suggestions on the places or the quiet beaches we could visit.
We left this place with the satisfaction of having some yummy crafted beers and well...three plates of chicken samosa!
