House Boat trip in Chapora Backwater - Goa

We booked this trip from tripraja.com online from home in the UK as it was booked up last year when we wanted to go!
So pleased we did, the taxi from our hotel in Cavilossim was extra but arranged by the office staff in Candolim.
The transfer to the rice boat was good and staff on board were so friendly and helpful. We stayed in the two bedroom authentic rice boat, clean and tidy if rather basic.

Food was good and the staff were attentive and offered drinks regularly.
A really interesting and chill out trip!

The river trips on both days were so relaxing and the captains wildlife knowledge was extensive, pointing out monkeys, several species of kingfisher, heron, egrets and Brahminy kites, and we were lucky to spot two crocodiles

Everything was well organised and planned.
