What Makes It Awesome?

Maria Paulo Guest House: They are probably the only place on Agonda that serve pork and beef! This place is located on Agonda main road, right next to the church, quite easy to miss but I'm glad I found Maria Paulo.

The place is run by a Catholic family, they have an adjacent guest house, with a. Bar and restaurant in the front yard. The menu includes a good Indian, Chinese, continental and Goan fare.

I saw the menu and instantly Called for a

pork sorpotel( a Portuguese -Goan classic), quite a popular dish in Goan Catholic culture. And the dish blew my mind away it was bloody authentic and yum. The flavours playing in my mouth.
Beef curry: Goan style green beef curry, with rice was a good combo .also authentic and yum! The curry picks up an end sweet note and might not please the spice eater crowd. But overall a good dish.

My vegetarian friend called for a mix veg pakora and that became awesome, huge chunks of shredded mix veggies batter fried and served hot. Also, they got interesting items like vindaloos, cafareal, racheado, chorizo and much more.
Pricing is in par with other places.
Also, they do live streaming of football matches on a big screen.

How Much Did It Cost?

₹1,000 - ₹3,000
