What Makes It Awesome

If you are on the hunt for the latest hotspot in Goa, something that screams Instagram-worthy and is a little bit daring, look no further, the Pink Beach has got it all! Tucked away in the beauty of South Goa, it's the go-to spot from October to May, and it's a stone's throw from Agonda and Palolem beaches. Sure, it's a fresh face on everybody's to-do list and getting there might be a bit of a challenge, but hey, that's part of the charm, right? It keeps this beach off the beaten path, a little like its neighbour, the Cola beach.

The best way to visit Pink Beach? Hop on your own ride! Whizz down the road just past Agonda from the southern side. And trust me, you don't want to miss the breathtaking cliff view of Cola beach en route. Once you hit the parking, ditch your wheels and gear up for a breezy 30-minute trek to paradise.

What's the absolute best thing about the Pink Beach? It's a chill spot 24/7! Blanketed by coconut trees, with backwaters that are always cool and refreshing. And hey, while you're there, why not take a kayak spin through the backwaters of Cola? Top off the day with a sunset picnic, it's a must! Fancy some quiet time? No problem, just lie back on your towel, dive into a good book or soak up the serene beauty of nature. Just don’t forget to carry sunglasses, sunscreen, UV protect umbrella, lots of water and swimwear.

It gets the name 'Pink Beach' thanks to some hard-working microbes thriving in the warm, salty waters. They produce carotenoids, like beta carotene, which gives them—and the water they inhabit—a gorgeous pink hue. Isn't that just totally wild?

Pro-Tip

If you're coming from the North, search for 'Rupraj Bar' on Maps and South, 'Hill Top, Cola Beach'. But be careful not to enter 'Cola Beach' or 'Cola Lagoon', because that will lead you down a whole different path.
