CyclingZens was the brainchild of Rohan Nagarkar, who was soon joined in his mission by Peter. Both of them brought their zeal and start-up learnings into making CyclingZens a success story. Here, you can now choose a bike, pick a terrain and let the #goalife seep into your pores, while you ride through the lush Goan landscapes in the monsoons. (Yes, they’re cycling through the rains!)
Their bikes are in top-notch condition and maintained by a super efficient staff(something that Rohan and Peter pay a lot of attention to) and you can choose from electric bicycles, to geared MTBs to single-speed hybrid ones. They also take care of regular upkeep and repairs of the bikes which are available for rent on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. The prices for the bikes start at INR 600 per day for their hybrid and MTB bikes and go upto INR 2,000 for their premium road bike. You get a helmet and lock with every bike rental and you can also get an add on of a GPS guided audio tour.
At CyclingZens, they organise guided tours of Chorao Island, Fort Aguada, Parra backroads, and the recent addition being a ride to the Chapora Fort (don’t be fooled by the crowds, the terrain is quite a climb). They also have special (longer) tours across North and South Goa routes and even Mumbai, so if you’re a cycling enthusiast in Goa, you know what to do! . The cost of these tours starts at INR 1,800 for an island cycling tour. However, the prices can fluctuate so we suggest you call them up.
