What's Happening

Kicking off its second edition on Oct 19 and 20, this family-friendly festival is the perfect start to the festive season celebrations. Take your entire fam (everyone between the age of 3-60 yrs) as LaLaLand promises to have something for everyone.

From acrobatics to mime, cabaret performances, to Nadia Rebello singing the traditional Fado music of the Portuguese, the fest is going to be a heady riot of performing arts. Carnatic music on the saxophone by Madhav Haridas and Mayank Bedekar to some great beatboxing by Manasi Nene, they've got diverse genres covered. If electronic is your jam, then there is Tritha with her band while the band Uncut Diamonds will perform Konkani folk songs alongside other popular jazz and pop.

Or, just sit back in the garden while you grab a drink from their bar or a bite from the food stalls offering some delicious local as well as international cuisines. The kids can hop over to the games corner which by the way, also has some fun activities for adults. Daddies, you can go to the Chop Shop pop-up and get a shave and massage with some beer while the kids keep busy.

The garden area will be dedicated to a flea market, selling locally produced, sustainable and upcycled products. And come evening, the sectioned off theatre area is where exciting performances including spoken word by Chandrakanth Redican, theatre by Samaya Gorgona along with cabaret, LED Freakshow and more will happen.

For the night owls, two DJs will take over and you're free to grab the headphones and enjoy the silent disco. So commercial, to jazz, drum n bass, to pop, everyone gets their own tunes to swing to.
