What, How, Where: Everything To Know About The Mumbai-Goa Angriya Cruise

What Makes It Awesome

Why fly when you can sail... On a seven-deck cruise from Mumbai to Goa? After all the talk and excitement, the ferry service began in October when Angriya hit the Konkan Coast. With the ability to carry 400 passengers, completes the Mumbai-Goa journey in 14-16 hours.

To keep you and your fam entertained, they've got an infinity pool, six bars, a discotheque (yeah, that's what they call it), a curio shop, library, buffet meals for breakfast and dinner, 24* 7 coffee shops for them midnight munchies, a spa and a stunning deck that lets you gaze at the sea from wherever you are. All these facilities on Angriya Cruise will ensure there's never a dull moment.

You can catch the ferry from Bombay on Monday/Wednesday or Friday at 4pm and wake up to the promise of beer and crabs in Goa the next day at 9am. At Angriya, depending on your budget, you can pick between the rooms (couple or twin-sharing with friends), dorms, luxury pods and bunk rooms. The dorms and pods don't have a separate bathroom though. The rates for an overnight stay including the meals start at 6k upwards for dorms and pods and go up to 9k for the rooms with big windows.

What Could Be Better

The dates for the cruise liner are declared in phases for a period of 45 days. This can be slightly disabling if you're someone who likes planning and booking in advance.
