Gariahat is the home of different types street foods, medium to high range restaurants. You can get to know about the restaurants very easily. So I am mainly discussing about the street food. I find out the most delicious momo joint at Golpark beside the flower shops. Their momos are just incredible. On the opposite footpath of Trader's Assembly you can find fuchkas, south Indian dishes and what not.

2. For Bookworms
Do you love reading?? But don't have enough money to buy bestsellers?? So painful. I can understand. But I have a way for you. Go towards Golpark from Gariahat through Reliance Trends footpath. After some clothing shops you will find out some roadside bookshops. Pay Rs. 100 and take any of the bestsellers. If you return the book within a week they'll return you Rs. 70-80 depending on the books.
3. For Serenity Lovers
Do you want to enjoy your afternoon alone is a serene place?? Do you feel that Kolkata becomes too populous for you?? Don't worry. Go to the Hanging Bridge of the Rabindra Sarovar and enjoy sunset beside the lake. Or you can go to extended part of Rabindra Sarovar and enjoy the beauty of flora, fauna and different types of birds. And I am saying guys you will feel that you are out of Kolkata. And this place is free of cost.
