5th Kolkata People's Film Festival

People's Film Collective is very pleased to invite you to participate in the forthcoming 5th Kolkata People's Film Festival (KPFF 2018), to be held for four days, 18th-21st January 2018 (11 am to 9 pm daily) at the Jogesh Mime Academy auditorium, Kolkata. KPFF is a non-sponsored, people-funded, independently organised cinema festival, showcasing politically conscious contemporary documentary & fiction cinema from India and the subcontinent. Held annually in Kolkata since 2014, KPFF is a much-awaited gathering - enthusiastically attended by the film and activist audience, bringing together filmmakers, students, workers, artists, writers, journalists and a wider cross-section of people to interact and form friendships over films and conversations. Entry is free, with no requirement of tickets or passes. However, this being a people-funded festival run without any kind of institutional funding whatsoever, we appeal to all friends and well-wishers to generously donate to the festival fund to sustain the festival.
