Rock To Indie Bands
A youth festival with music at its core, we can't imagine The Soul Local without its fantastic serving of amazing local and indie music. On their last leg, things this year get more exciting as the line up gets a notch higher and boasts of popular music bands and musicians like Bodhisattwa Ghosh, Nabarun Bose, Arko Mukhaerjee, Amyt Datta, Adil and others. Be there to swing to Ziba's world music, hum to Enolaton's alt pop/rock act, rock to Underground Authority or groove to DJ UGain's hip-hop and trap flow.
Scarf On Delish Treats
Frankies, fries, biryani, brownies, nachos, momos--we can just go on for days, but the food line up this year is just so solid. The food area has always been a special attraction at The Soul Local. feed you hunger pangs and grab some lip smacking fries from The J, tempting bakes from The Nom Law bakery, Tacos from Kurry and oriental from Chez Pan Oriental.
Shop Till You Drop
Like the other years, Calcutta Cacophony is bringing back The Soul Local's unique flea style market in this chapter too. Starting from T- Shirts, to accessories, to designer sarees, to hand-painted cards-- you name it, and you can find it at The Soul Local. The Art of Misanthropy, Kojagori’s Collection, Liquid T-Shirts will be there selling their crafts, jewellery and T-Shirts. And there will be plenty more!
Freeze The Moment At The Photobooth
What better way to freeze the fantastic moments of this youth fest's last edition than to capture it in their quirky fun and colourful photobooths? There'll doubtfully be one Soul Local atendee who haven't got snapped at its funky and colourful photobooths. The forever favourite Harry Potter Photobooth and LGBTQ+ photobooths are making a return this year too, only bigger and with more quirky props.
Fandom Alert!
It's no youth fest, if there's no space for pop culture and fandom. Thankfully, The Soul Local have always been particularly charged up about Cult films, TV series and Superheroes. Be there to score Avengers, Wonder Woman, Batman, Sherlock, Game of Thrones, Pulp Fiction collectibles and other merch. And collectors, ahoy! They are all for sale!
Game It Up!
Bring your game with your gang because there'll be games to amp up the fun. Fight it out with your squad on crazy carnival games like ball toss and frisbee throw and hold the bragging rights among your friends.
