95 Degree Cafe And Bakery has gifted New Alipore with a new hangout place. Now no more whining about where to catch up with a friend in Alipore side.
This cosy 25-seater has an outdoor space as well, in case you want to have a conversation in the middle of nature, or just want to be left alone with your work. Try a combination of the Cream of Mushroom Soup with their Smoked Corn and Cheese Croquette for a light start. The croquette is made of fresh corn, potato, crumb fried and served with garlic aioli. Meat eaters can hog on their Pan Seared Peri Peri Chicken (one of the recommended dishes by the co-owner Deep Banerjee), Parmesan Crusted Finger Fish and Grilled Fish Skewers, marinated with mustard, lime zest and olive oil, and lemon butter sauce on top. You can literally feel the punch of the lemony flavour dominating your buds.
The cafe gives you the option to make your own pasta and choose from spaghetti, penne and macaroni. For sauces, you can select garlic cream & cheese, tomato cream, spicy arrabiata, aglio e olio, among others.
Like your grills well done? Coming to the mains, you must try the Stone Grilled Chicken, one of their specialities, which is served with carrot mash in red wine jus on cracking leek. The jus and leek add to the juicy flavour of the dish.
Take a gastronomical journey of a lifetime, with their Sweet Bengal, a dessert which includes jalebi and roshogolla with a layer of rabri in between. This had to be one of our favourite takeaways from 95 Degree.
