Cut N Paste: Zine Making Workshop

An interactive zine making workshop for young adults by Shreya Dalmia of Curry magazine. A zine (pronounced “zeens”) is an independently created publication. It is more often done out of passion for a subject rather than for commercial success by those who feel like they have something to say and would like to share it to the world. It can be about any subject and done in any style imaginable. Zine publishing includes everything from poetry, science fiction, literature, anthology and personal writing, to food and record reviews, work, cats, health, feminism, race and racism, and everything in between. Currently, zines are typically photocopied using word processors, but there are many who utilize offset printing or create handmade zines with content made using collage, digital photography, silkscreen, litho, hand-written creative writing, etc.
