The folks behind one of our fave food hangouts, The Blue Poppy, launched two brand new standout eateries. We’ve been stuffing our faces with the open momos and pickled pork trotters at their new Nepali joint Thakali. And then there’s Shim Shim off Park Circus. You absolutely cannot miss out on the beef kothay – steamed momos stuffed with beef and lightly pan fried on one side – it’s crispy, light, juicy, deliciousness. The beef phalay is another must try. A fried Tibetan pancake, it’s stuffed with beef and is a simple crispy delight. Now we’re just waiting for a really good Naga food joint in Kolkata!
