What Is It?
An evening of film and music, Shiraz: A Romance of India is a story of the 17th century princess who inspired the construction of the Taj Mahal. If you have buddies living in Hyderabad, Delhi or Mumbai, let them know as well since the film will tour four cities. The screening will be followed by a specially-commissioned live film score performed by multi-Grammy-nominated composer and musician Anoushka Shankar and an orchestral ensemble. One of the few times Calcuttans get to experience classical music live and we can’t be more thrilled!
