What Makes It Awesome

The summer season is here! Before you start hunting the web for places to cool off in, allow us to nudge you in the right direction. Pack your swim suits and head to Aquatica, the oldest and also the largest water park in eastern India.

Aquatica has fun and thrilling rollercoasters and water park rides that take ‘going with the flow’ to another level. Have a blast as you twist, turn and splash or merely float around all day. Choose from rides for the whole family or the ones where you can challenge your friends.

A popular ride here is the Black Hole, which will leave your heart thumping with its deadly twists and turns. The Cyclone starts from a height of 40ft, then blasts down a long tunnel, spins around a funnel, and hurtles through the eye of the storm to calm waters below. Adrenaline junkies, don’t miss the Pendulum, a unique water slide where you move up and down like a pendulum in a wide V-shaped slide before coming to a gradual halt. Be warned though, this one is a 40-ft vertical free fall drop!

Bring out your inner child with the Multilane, a high-speed mat racer that will send you zipping down a serpentine slide on a flat mat alongside your besties. Want to have a calm and cool time? Relax on a rubber tube as it gently floats down the Lazy River. Or chill in the Wave Pool. Oh and before we forget, they have a Rain Disco too, where you can have the most fun dancing to the latest chart toppers.

The park is open from 10 AM to 6 PM. Charges are INR 1,000 on the weekdays. On weekends and public holidays, it's INR 1,100. Locker facilities are available too for a charge.

Pro-Tip

Aquatica also has a luxurious resort that offers rooms for an overnight stay and has an Island Shoppe stocked with swimming and bathing essentials. Restaurants and food courts offer a good choice of Chinese, North Indian and Continental fare.
