Armenian Heritage Walk

What's Happening

Kolkata, the cultural capital of India is home to lot of Armenians who came to the city centuries ago and settled down. While we are sure, some might be already aware of the diminishing community and for others who don't, this is the chance to explore the history of the city through this much interesting heritage walk

Ever wondered what the Armenian contribution was to our wonderful city or where do they worship? where is their cemetery? Where is the 'Armenian Para'? What's the difference between other Christians and Armenian Orthodox Christians? Bring all your queries to this tour as they take you down to the spots. From the old Holy Nazareth Church in Brabourne Road to the Armenian College, the cemetery, Park and Queen's Mansions, Stephen Court (they were built by legendary Armenian real estate developer J C Galstaun), this walk will spark the Armenian connection to the city.

To prove that food is the best way to connect with one's culture this tour ends at the speaker, Anthony Khatchaturian's house for an Armenian feast followed by adda session about the Armenian history and culture. To book your spot whatsapp them on 9674917877.
