What's Happening

Art Rickshaw has been making this little lane in Hindustan Park light up with the artwork on their building. They are notching it up another level with the Kolkata Arts Lane Festival or KALFest . The lane will be adorned with fairy lights and accessorised with art installations and artworks, and food stalls. You can dance on the street too because they will have some groovy music.

With over 50 artists putting up their work, this street festival is going to be a good start to the new year. The people behind KALFest say that it is inspired by the Memphis Arts Movement and aims at bringing together traditional, old school and contemporary art together, via diverse mediums. We are looking forward to events like poetry and storytelling, live performances of baul music and demos of traditional martial art forms, photography and more.

How's The Venue

The festival will be held at Hindusthan Park, 2nd Lane. It's an open, tree-lined street in Hindustan Park where Sienna and Byloom are located.
