Held approximately three weeks before the Joydev Kenduli Mela, the Baul gathering in Shantiniketan is a must-see and must-hear for any Baul music enthusiast. The festival is held on the seventh day of the Bengali month of Poush {December-January} to commemorate the foundation day of Shantiniketan.
