What Makes It Awesome?

On our first visit to this marvellous structure that houses some of the best sweet shops in Kolkata, we were so impressed that we decided whenever we are in that neck of the woods, we'd definitely visit this place.

This multi-brand store at Eco Park in Rajarhat has a total of 12 stores all under one roof. If you're on your way to the airport and want to get some sweets for your loved ones, make sure you stop by Bangla Mishti Hub.

From KC Das to Gupta Brothers and even lesser known {at least to me} stores like Mishti Kotha, every outlet offers their best mishtis here. So we decided to try all the new ones.

1. Sorer Roll - Cigar shaped rolls with a yummy filling of Sor {malai/cream} cuddled in a fried sugared blanket. This was one of the best things we tried. Highly recommended to anyone who likes lightly sweet but creamy mithai.

2. Gondhoraj Lebu r Mishti Doi - One of the least plausible flavours of yogurt and lemon leaf. This Gondho Raj Lebu {Rangpur Lime} leaves infused mishti is everything. Well-balanced and complex profile.

3.Mishti Doi Rosogolla- We are used to sweet rosogolla and mishti doi. Putting these together is something else.

Apart from these, there is so much to eat and explore. The gorgeous store also plays the perfect host to history fanatics like me. You can get a heavy dose of many famous sweets here.

For instance, Ledikeni is named after Lord Canning's wife.
